It's a very nice set. But don't put it in a light/bright room 'cause the glass front gives reflections. Try to demo the Loewe and some of the newer sets and see which is best to your liking.

With HD you mean the harddisk for recording? Wasn't build in with our unit and apparently they can't be retrofitted.

    Bought ours here

Will try to detach the glass panel tonight or tomorrow and will look what the differences are. Probably shoot some pics too.

We didn't buy the stand 'cause it cost more than half of the TV (got ours for €2500) and there wasn't enough room for equipment in it (only room for 2 a/v units).

The set is big, 157cm wide, the stand in the pics is 150cm.

:hiya: to all, very polite forum you have in here

I'm looking to buy a Loewe 55 as above for a crazy project at home, i did demo one at powerhouse but at the time i think it had issues with being HD ready.

Has this changed? also whats the verdict on this great looking set & some up to date pricing? :lease:

As far as I know there aren't any problems with HiDef compatibility. It has HDCP on DVI so apart from HDMI connection it's as HD Ready as can be.

Dunno for sure but maybe that newer sets display dark/black better. Or maybe I have to set it up better.

So how crazy is that project going to be?

Jamo D7-PEX7.1 7.1 THX Speaker Package.

I already have a Pioneer 505 XDE, but its disappointing.

It seems hard to get any prices online, have this set been changed in any way recently?

Think it's just hard to find in general. As far as I know it's still the same. A tech. update would be nice tough.
