Location of 46" X-Series Sony Bravia

I am thinking of locating my new X-series in my bay window which is a diameter of about 180 cms. The window is north facing and so shouldnt be affected by the sun.

Does anyone else have their CRT or Plasma located in front of a window and is it recommended ?

I have my KDL-40V2000 in a Bay window...... and as far as i know it is not recomended!

However mine looks fine, and there is no direct light coming in as it has the light during the day when i am not there!

On the weekends if i am watching tv, then it can make the screen look dark, but hell i just pull the curtains!

Good choice of TV by the way!
