Local Connections for an Xbox

    OK going to a mates tonight, neither of us are on live can we still just locally connect the Xboxes and play across 2 teles? (just put an ethernet cable between the 2)

    I think you can if the game supports "system link". You'll need to use a crossover cable though, not an ordinary ethernet cable, and both boxes will need to be on the same ip scope as well. Have a look on Xbox Scene (or Google "Xbox System Link setup") for more details.

    You will need a cross over network cable directly connected to two machines. This will network the two Xboxes together, and make system link play possible.
