I'm about swap my sky reciever to a Sky+ one. I need to get a LNB either dual/quad.(Need to persuade the missus, that sky in the bedroom will be good!).
The prices seem to be 14-95GBP !!! How do i know what one i need?
My sat dish is apporx 4 years old and paired (currently) with a Panasonic box.
Sky says an independant should do the install (40quid if i supply the lnb or 120quid if he does !!!)

There are lots of quad LNB's for sale on Ebay - prices seem to start around £12. If you choose one that says "Suitable for Sky Digital" in the description, you should be OK. The full specs are : 10.70...12.75GHz Freq Range, LOI =9.750GHz, LO2=10.600GHz, NF:~0.6DB. The only difficulty that you may experience is in the fixing of the LNB to the arm, because I believe there have been one or two variations. If your dish is only 4 years old, you should be OK, but that's the sort of experience that you pay an installer for :)
