(Am still deciding on satellite diy installation and parts )

LNB: Is LNB db noise figure important? also are all manufacturers ok to use?

Dish Mini: Again are all mini dish manufacturers Ok or some to stear clear of?
The compatability of mini dish and LNB?

Have read a lot on the above I have ended up confused and I know I am probably asking rather naive questions.

If anyone can give me any help it would be greatly appreciated!!!!

If you visit Ebay, you can buy the same dishes and LNB's that the professional installers use. You can even buy packs containing dish & LNB. If you're in the "primary service area" (i.e. not Scotland), a mini-dish is all that you require.

P.S. Just bear in mind that you'll need a twin or quad output LNB if you're going to get Sky+ or maybe want a second box in the future.
