lm670T offered as a replacement to a UE40D6530

I've been offered a LG 40LM670T as a replacement for my UE40D6530 not having full 3D HD. The only other alternative is a cash refund or keep the UE40D6530 with the latest firmware. The LG seems a bit of a hit and miss and no active 3D. I saw the 47" of the LG in store but the SD picture didn't seem great. Any advice from LG owners? It will be used for SD, HD, Bluray, XBox and PS3.
