First let me say this is not my ideal system

Life is full of compromise and SWMBO is a good negotiator

I was told I could have the new Panasonic 58DX902 but ONLY if the living room was redecorated and the real kicker (That the 5.1 Onkyo and Full size speaker system had to go).

It was agreed on a Yamaha YSP-2500 Sound projector with a possible upgrade to the new Atmos Yamaha sound projector in 12 months.

The was already wall mounting over the fireplace and 55/58" is as big as it can go without overhang (Another SWMBO NoNo)

Before the install I had 2xSat and 2x Ethernet & 1xCoax coming through the outside wall to the left then along the skirting to the fireplace

Under the new install all those have been routed under the floorboards to the right hand side of fireplace. The fireplace surround has been modded with a 4 way power supply inside it and also an ethernet switch.. This has all been wire to all wall switch next the sockets at the right of the fireplace so it can be isolated in one go.

On the Panasonic DX902 what can I say its a superb rig and losing the Onkyo 5.1 is acceptable although I may push for the Atmos Yamaha sooner rather than later

SWMBO Doing the prep. I am not allowed on any of this part

    Screen Placement

First tests before burying the wiring etc

    The Result

All the wiring buried to SWMBO Requirements and specification

Nothing at all compared to some of the fantastic systems I see on here and am in aww at some of the installations I see on here

But working within the limits of what I was allowed to do I am happy with the results and think it makes a nice tidy wire free setup..

    Thanks for looking.

Cheers trying to find best position for it, as it deals with a lot of the midrange as well as the bass for the sound projector positioning is a little bit more tricky than a standard sub. but am working on getting it hidden

The Panny is superb i am rather gobsmacked by the picture quality. Having come from an LG 4k OLED the brightness and colour of the panny are so much better

It does suffer from screen relections but careful placment removes any problems

So far its my favorite set ever
