Although I've got Sky+ and a DVD-Recorder I will be away on holiday for more than a week before the concert is broadcast (which rules out even setting a manual recording).

Anyone planning to record the whole concert ? I'd really like to get it in good quality on DVD-R if possible. I was at the original Live Aid show 20 years ago and am gutted that I can't even apply for a ticket (not living in the UK).

    eBay is an idea.
I'll buy the legit DVD of course but there's something about the TV coverage that's special - plus the commercial DVDs always cut the best music (read : least commercial).

If anyone wants to offer the set I'm sure I can trade some interesting stuff I've taped over the last 20 years. I collect music concerts & documentaries so I'm sure I'll have something of interest.
