Hi guys and gals, need a little help with a formula in Excel.

    The formula is =IF(A6>B6,"HIT","MISSED")

So if somone meets there target they get Hit and if they fail its Missed...

This works perfect but i am looking for them to be in different colours, e.g if they Miss there target i want it to be in Red and if they hit there target i want it to be in Blue.

Is there an easy way to do this ?

    Cheers

Use the same formula (more or less) in the Conditional Formatting options. (except 1 and 0 or true and false, to get the condition to work, instead of hit or miss)

    Format - Conditional Formatting.

Basically you need to add conditional formatting to the cell. Depending on the value in the cell, then the formatting will change. It is under Home/Styles in the latest Excel version. Not sure where it is in the other ones but have a look in help.

MDX, in what way did PMSonics spreadsheet not work for you? Seems as though conditional formatting was covered in it.
