My boy will be made up. He loves Little Big Planet but thanks to me having an Xbox he only ever got to play it when we went round a friends house.

Seems everyone jumped the gun lol. Its still coming though, no doubts about it.

    @LittleBigPlanet

We love each and everyone of you for your enthusiasm and passion for LBP but sadly we think you may of jumped the sack-gun on this occasion!

We have some very cool news to share today about an awesome competition though!:)

Looking very much like LBP3 will be a PS3 title.

Have seen it suggested a number of times over the last month but that has increased over the last week or so, including one reliable insider.

    Hope it's wrong though.

Sounds like its out this November..

    LittleBigPlanet 3 - E3 2014 Announce Trailer (PS4)

My lad was happy about this too, I like playing the lbp coop modes, but when the kids mess about with the stickers, level creation, etc, it does my nut. So I may need to borrow that tazer ;)

I was hoping for a new IP from Media Molecule. That looks like more of the same.

Yer, first one was a novelty really for me and this really looks like what jimster says, more of the same, think I pass this time around, wish they had a new IP instead.

I'm the same. Love the concept and some of the community created levels are great but I do not like the physics of sackboy himself. Feels too floaty and makes the game less fun controlling him.

I'm pretty sure this isn't from Media Molecule, at least, not the 'A' team.

Can't wait for it. Love Little Big Planet games. Plus all the levels ever created available as well as getting a makeover for PS4 :)

A year ago! And fwiw I think the story on this was getting confused with LBP Hub which was announced as a PS3 game.

Same, although the physics of the sock character looked much more to my liking. This looks ok, I'll probably buy it and give it a go despite not playing much of LBP2 when I owned it.

If there was ever a game that should be in 3D, it's this! It looks lovely, but could be epic in 3D.

Never a truer word spoken.........however I still thoroughly enjoyed playing the games although if I had to criticise it would be a floaty sack boy and I hated the level creator and never used it or played anyone's levels so it was completely wasted on me.

Aye, my son would spend hours making his own & playing other people's levels. I was blown away by the effort and thought that went into creating them. When I watched my lad using the level creator I didn't have a scooby what he was doing. He was only 7 at the time.

Is LBP a big seller and IP for Sony? Is it like Infamous where it does well but isn't a system seller?

Sony like to use Sackboy as a character to promote the system. I don't think it ever sells massively.

The main LBP games are 5 million sellers. Vita version and Karting didn't do that well.

However, I'm sure I also saw something a couple of years back that they had sold over 60 million DLC items via LBP, which would be a huge moneyspinner.
