Hi
I've successfully recorded many TV programmes from Sky+ to my Liteon LVW-5006 DVD Recorder in the past using DVD-RW discs. It's supposed to record to a wide range of different formats so I recently bought a sealed drum of 50 TDK DVD-R, 4.7GB discs. However the DVD recorder is not accepting them and saying FAIL after trying for a while. I've tried two discs and the same thing happens. I emailed Lite-on and immediately got a nice reply saying they'd be getting back in touch shortly. That was 10 days ago (LOL). Is their claim about DVD-R being OK a lie or are the discs likely to be faulty or should I be doing something different? Anyone else had this kind of problem?
