I have just acquired a LiteOn LVW-5005. It appears to work using the supplied DVD+RW disc. I can't get it to record on either Bulkpaq (orange) DVD-R or my unbranded DVD-RW media (purchased from Novatech). It will however play both this disks if I first record them on my Sony DVD drive in my computer. Before I go out and purchase more recordable media I would like to know what DVD RWs will record in the LiteOn.

    Thanks

Phillips DVD+RWs work fine but Ornage BulkPaq DVD-Rs are inconsistent -0 yesterday I had one that loaded fine but when the timer recording started it refused to recognise the disc and I missed the recording (or would have done had I not been watching and hasitly put in a different disc.

I'm sending my recorder back to Dabs for a refund - I'll look for something else
