I have recently got myself a plasma tv with freeview built in as well a Humax PVR.I assume that if I want to listen to any digital radio stations that I would have to leave my TV on.Does this mean that there is a real danger of what used to be called "screen burn" as the screen displays a static picture or logo for any lenghth of time?

why not listen to radio through the humax by taking a separate audio feed to your amp? (assuming you have one)

Look on the rear of the humax and you will see two phono sockets which provide analogue audio out. Connect two phono leads from these to your tape in sockets on your amp.
