I think it is about time for me to go hard disk\wireless for my wife to listen to her favourite bollywood selection after two cd micro systems stopped working completely  .

So what do you suggest ipod with speakers\ wireless from pc\any other alternative?.

Cheap and cheerful would be nice with the easy user friendly accessibility . Not asking for too much am I  ??

Go DAB route depending on you location as there are a few stations broadcasting or if cd listening is important then you can get dual players.

I'd look at the squeezebox range from Slim Devices.

    http://www.slimdevices.com/

    Excellent, user friendly, good sound!

You do need either active speakers, or an amp and speakers with each one though.

    Cheers,
    Bruce.
