    Hi,

I hope this in the right place. I've recently purchased a Plasma and have some lip sync issues, especially on Sky. What I'm looking for is a list of amplifiers that have audio delay. They dont have to be current models as I may consider 2nd hand, anything up to a year or 2 old really.

    First on I have is,

    Yamaha RX-V650 - £380

Does anyone know whether you can specifiy different delays for different sources?

Please add to the list with prices if possible.

    Thanks

You can get the RXV650 for £269 at Richer Sounds and yes it does have a audio delay setting (which i assume can be altered)

Then conversly the ax 750 se should also be included. I would also look at the new marantz amps 4500/5500 but i dont think anyone is discounting them yet :(

Also do any of the 'all in one' systems feature audio delay?

These are the differences (DSPAX750 vs. RXV-650, respectively) :

    1) 100W x 7 vs. 95W x 7
    2) Phono stage for 750
    3) Front Aluminium fascia for 750
    4) Component video 'upconversion' for 750
    5) Learning remote vs. factory presets only
    6) 750 is manufactured specifically for British ears (with unique design and engineering modifications)
    7) Much better stereo performance in pure direct mode for 750 (in my opinion, because I had both at one stage)

The extra dosh is definitely worth it.

    Regards,

If you are interested in the 750 take a look on http://www.technikdirekt.de/
You can get it for about £300 with €20 delivery. You still get full years warranty which is honoured by Yamaha and all you need to do is fit a british plug.
