Never noticed it on mine, Hitachi 42PD5300, apart from on a Sky+ recording once.

Viera 37" - no problems with Sky+ or DMR-HS2 DVD recorder, even though I have looked for it!

I maybe wrong but i dont think plasma's them selves have lip sync problems,
Is it not sky +, when you put it through an amp, and when the amp converts your signal, the video signal is delayed and the sound is'nt, hence lip sync.
Maybe be totally wrong though, some one will tell me.

The problem usually happens when you feed the picture direct from Sky via scart to the TV then have the audio via an amp.
The plasmas processing of the picture gives the delay.
