Seems to have started since the last software update (the one listed as providing support for top-up tv)

A reboot fixes the problem but it is v annoying.

It is the small wedge shaped pace box.

    Cheers

I am having the same problem with this Pace box, Speedsix. It happens on all channels, but usually ITV1 and Channel 4, and frequently occurs after a 'static' sound is heard. The volume also drops as well after this sound is heard. Changing the channel (and then back again) sometimes fixes it. Also the BBC1 picture via this box is quite poor compared to other channels, but undoubtedly this is something to do with the bit rate and not the fault of the box itself.

It's the Topup TV update. I returned mine to Pace, who downgraded the software. It's fine now.

Hi, I have had the 'update available' pop up at least 3 times but when I click ok it says 'no update is available at this time' or something similar, and no software is downloaded.

    Very annoying.

Hi you need to differ the update until 3 am by pressing the blue button when prompted for the update, then ensure you leave the DTVA on and tuned to BBC1 overnight, this update is just really a patch for the software you are all ready running so thats why it says that no update is available if you just press ok .It fixes the lip sync and some other issues.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks!

So when I pressed ok the patch wasn't actually applied and I must tell it to wait until 3am, as I am still having the lip sync issues?

They should still increase the version number regardless of it being only a patch imo.

    Thanks for your help

    Dom
