I bought this player in Tenerife for the familys apartment. However, I found a cheeper dvd player (30 Euro and can't pronounce the name!) to leave out there after buying the LG.
The LG was eighty euro and I deceided to bring it home for the back room.
However, it has a bad lip-sync problem
Anyone got any advice on why this is???
I changed scart leads and DVD's with no joy.

Probably just has really poor quality video processing which can't keep up with the audio. My advice is to buy a decent entry level player like the Toshiba SD-330 or its replacement, or a cheapo universal player like the Pioneer DV-575.

    Thanks Crustyloafer,
Kind of hard though, as I've got to go all the way to tenerife to change it....
Plus the fact that I don't speak Spanish and wouldn't have a clue how to ask for a refund LOL!
