Hope someone can shed some light on this.

On the back of the box it states that there are 2 versions of the film. I can only find 1 - the new extended version (including the song 'the morning report').

Are they including the 'sing-a-long' version which is the same, but just pops up subtitles for the duration of the songs? - if so, that is hardly a different version. A bit like saying 'follow the white rabbit' is a different version of the Matrix.

I'd have thought the extra version is the original one, if so where is it?

    Cheers.

A bit odd this, but if you go to soundtrack selection you can choose the original without the sing-song, just talking. Play that soundtrack to get the original (or as original as possible on DVD).

Isn't the original version on Disk 1 and the 'ext' version on Disk 2.

Nope, you access them in the way I've described. Believe me, our two year old is obsessed with this bloody film, it's probably been played twice a week since it's release!!!

It's an illogical way to do it though I'll grant you.
