Linking HDD Recorder to computer

    !Hello, im new to all these HDD recorders, is it possible to link one to your PC and transfer stored videos you have recorded?

    Usually only if you have a video capture card in your PC, and you would have to transfer in real time.

    I usually find it easier to burn to DVD, then rip the DVD to my PC using something like DVDShrink

    Using DVD-Ram discs is much easier no ripping involved you just copy the video file from the DVD-Ram disc.

    Thats why I purchased a DVD-Ram compatable recorder as I concluded it was the simplest method of getting the videos on my PC and then being to re-use the disc quickly again afterwards.
