I have recently bought an Alexa Echo system and would like to control my Panasonic TX-65EZ952B. On looking through the Alexa set up, it says that I need to open the APP menu on the TV and I should then see an APP for SMART SPEAKER and by clicking on it, I would see a Device ID., which I then have to input into the Alexa App on my Phone which in turn would link the Alexa with the Panasonic TV. HOWEVER, I cannot see this APP on my TV, so am unable to obtain the Device ID. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there another way of getting the Device ID?

Have you tried searching for and then adding the Smart Speaker app on your TV?

EZ series is not compatible with smart speakers, it works on FZ series.

Thanks for your replies. Its a shame, as I thought that it was possible with the price I paid for the TV. Would this require a software update to make it compatable? Is there a way to work around it?

Have you checked if your set has the latest software, if not, do so and then check if it's possible to add the app you're after.
