does this player output pure pal progressive scan or does it output pal via ntsc(like my nintaus player)
also if sent to a pt ae100 do you know what the resolution is stated at for the pal picture i.e. wide480 etc

    MOVIE JUNCTION

I had this player for a week or so. It was definitely proper pal progressive without any NTSC conversion. The Panny showed as '625P'.

Can't vote on your poll as I've never tried any of the other sources.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards

    Richard

    Of course!

The transport was far too noisy (the player actually seemed to shake at times!). I took it back and swopped it for another one which did exactly the same.

Have a search on this forum for info on this player as there's been a fair bit been posted in the last month or so - lots of people couldn't get on with it but then lots could. Seemed like the luck of the draw to me - everyone who got one without any problems seemed to be happy with it.

Bear in mind that RicherSounds offer a 14 day refund so there's no harm in finding out for yourself.

Unfortunately, I didn't try ntsc. I only have one region 1 disc and that is an old disney cartoon.

    Best of luck

    Richard
