:lease: Purchased yesterday the double box set of Lilo and Stitch, (some may that sad). The box states an alternate ending, but I am blowed if I can find it. To be honest I was expecting 2 versions of the film, how wrong i was!!

Can anybody out there help me to solve this one?

    Regards

    Steve

    Thanks Seth for getting back.

I have the original R1 release but purchased this 2 disc special edition released 22.08.2005. Purchased the disc because of DTS and THX sound and very good to it is and the alternate ending.

I thought you would have an option between the two versions, but you don't. So my question is "is it on the disc, but I am just to stupid to find it or have the folks at Disney forgot to add it ?"

    Regards

    Steve

Well if it's on the disk(s), it's VERY well hidden.

There's not a single option for it anywhere as you rightly say - it could be in the documentary or they're referring to the 747 sequence.

Feel an email/phone call coming on.

Took my kidlet to see Lilo & Stitch this past weekend, so I thought I'd put up a little mini-review. Very good movie, and surprisingly subversive, coming from Disney. Yes, it's a family-supportive movie, but not in an Ozzie and Harriet way. Its message is more of a "family is the people you care about and who care about you," and not some semi-artificial construct with 2.4 kids and a dog. The movie is inventive, funny as all get out, and touching in non-saccharine ways. It can be a bit intense at times, but my 5-year-old was never once scared.

I hope Disney continues like this, with more original ideas and not rehashings of somebody else's tale. Alas, their next offering is a sci-fi twist on Treasure Island called -- wait for it -- "Treasure Planet." Oh well.

Sorry Seth for not getting back, have been on hols for a long weekend.

So if its no where in sight, would you have a contact name and number where I can vent my frustration. I purchased it from Sainsbury's, so I don't think I'll have much joy there

    Regards

    Steve

Luckily I've asked the Reviews editor to put the question to the PR company for Disney - am hoping we get a response - if so, I'll let you know.

Other than that - look up Disney/Buena Vista via Yell.com ('tis what I would do under same circumstances)
