Okay, who can suggest a suitable AV receiver (possibly with DAB onboard) that won't break the bank but can cope with the following setup? Gold stars and ten house points to the winner...

Hitachi 42pd9700 HDMI
Phono deck (I realise I'll need a phono amp) with the usual audio red/white
Marantz CD player with the audio red/white and optical out (possibly coaxial too)
TEAC tape deck with audio red/white in and out
Sony MD recorder with the audio red/white and optical out
PC with mini-jack audio out
Panasonic DVD DMR-EX85 HDMI
PS2 (optical out?)
KEF speakers

I'd like 5.1 at least, 6.1 would be great. Any suggestions of speakers/subwoofers too? I'm completely new to the 'sound' side of all this, the most I've done is put my Samsung VCR/DVD through my Marantz/KEFs before.

Thanks in advance:eek: :lease:

That looks great; although I don't know the make. Actually re. the DAB, I think digital TV has all the stations, so I can just use that.
Cheers
