    Ok, for clarification.

Original thread deleted as it contains links to member's web pages advertising the decals. Yes, I fully appreciate that member @L0giX was only trying to help and was making little to no profit. However to protect the members who pay to be "Assured Advertisers" here at AVF (and subsequently that money goes to cover the cost of these forums) I have had to delete the thread.

Light bar decals are available across the internet with a simple search. Some are better than others.

Admin and the owners have to protect the paid advertisers and I hope you all can see the predicament I find myself in.

I'm more than happy for members to post up pictures of light bars here as the previous thread was most informative in that respect. Just cannot allow direct sales/advertising etc.

Think they look crap TBH. Although can see how some would find them appealing.

I remember when I was 16 and I used to stick stickers on my PS1. Looking back it looked hideous.

To be fair, the ones in the deleted thread looked fantastic. Well "some" did, there were a few poor ebay ones on there too.

TBH I'm not interested in covering it up. It doesn't bother me. Sure some look decent but I can't help but think theyre a bit cheap looking. Mind you I'm in my mid 30's so just can't see the appeal. If I was a young whippersnapper then perhaps to show to my mates to look cool.

Didn't really read the previous thread so no sure of the history. Someone ask for a burberry one or something? :)

I just laugh to myself when people post, "the light bar totally shines on to my tv screen", or " sitting using my projector, the light bar illuminates my room", like somehow Sony have harnessed the power of the Sun, shrunk it, and placed it in a strategic point on a controller, so as to shine like an industrial laser.... :rotfl:

Yah, to each their own. Can't say I've EVER noticed it on my TV. Hell, I barely notice the light at all, even when it's doing cooky things. Frankly I can't wait for them to start adding in some good uses for the move capabilities in the controller.

I never had an issue with it on my tv either, stuck our clan tag on mine because I think it looks good, even at the ripe age of 40 and 11/12ths.

I personally love the light bar glowing away, but I think the decals are both a clever idea and an inexpensive way to give your controllers a bit of uniqueness.

The light reflects off my screen and does distract so I went for the total cover up with a status hole. Much better now.. :)

I was having problems with the light reflecting on my screen, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I just adjusted the angle of the tv's wall bracket slightly and poof, the problem has gone!

People using these to stop the light or for the looks?

If for the light would an update that dims the light then render them useless?

They're only stick ons. If an update comes to turn it off great. I'd probably leave mine on as even when charging the orange light lights up my room like a Christmas tree whilst I'm trying to sleep :)

it's a bit of both for me , i play in the dark and can clearly see the light reflecting on the tv screen,
and i also like the the way ds4 now looks with the decals on ,

as for an "update" to say "dim the light and that could render them useless" that wouldn't bother me
i have never in the past used the "motion controls" for the ps3 , and at the moment there's nothing out there that would make me use them for the ps4,

but that's not to say that there wont be useful in the future ,
