The time is coming to ceiling mount my new CRT :D , the ceiling beams are reinforced, the unistrut is in place and the threaded rod has been cut to length, but how the hell do I get it up there  !! I have been recommended by a tool hire company to use a "genie lift", its like a mini forklift on a trolly normally used to lift air con units into place, it will lift up to 250kg to 3.5m high which is plenty for me :) . Does anyone have any further advice on kit that would be better or will the genie do the job

The genie is the best tool for the job.

Any chance of some pics showing how the unistrut, threaded rod, and beam reinforcement looks, for when I try to stick my 801s to the ceiling? :smashin:

    Cheers,
    Ben.

You could have bought a barco CM100 projection lift. Than it is a one man job (ok a 2nd one to put the nuts onto the bolts..)
