    Hi
Why would one require a second remote for bose lifestyle 18 for bose link?
I gather that you could use the orignal remote anywhere in the house so shouldn't that be enough to control the lifestyle system?
Also, do you control which sound is played to zone 2 from the lifestyle system or from the zone 2 equipment?

    Regards

Thanks Hd. How do I control zone 2 from the original system, do I have to physically control the sound from zone 2 or does the lifestyle control what sound I get from zone 2? I can control the lifestyle system if I am in a different room can I? So why do I need a second remote?
Sorry to be a pain Hd!

    Regards

    RUwith

like i said on PM zone 2 allows Sky in lounge (Zone 1) and CD in Kitchen (Zone 2) if you only had 1 remote and wanted to turn the footie volume UP you would defen the person in kitchen listening to a CD..
Both remotes control headunit, but different Zone outputs (SPEAKER sets or ROOMS)

Yes I have a lifestyle 18. So my original remote has no control over zone 2 unless I change the dip swithes?
