Just seen one of these in Lidl's. I can't tell much as it was locked up. It looks really nice and could tell the following.

    1000:1 contrast
    Lens Shift

There was what looked like S Video, composite and component input on the back.

It looks different to the last one they had at £699.

There is plenty of experience of Epson tw10h's on here and they are currently ~£550. Less risky?

The BenQ 5120 is also available for around the same price as the Epson - which gives you a DLP option if you want it!

Isn't there another thread running on this just below?...

    http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168073

    Isn't it 4:3 native AR?

If so I think the Tosh ET1, Epson TW10 or Benq 5120 would be a far better bet...PJ

Edit: scrub that, it does seem to be wideVGA - hence it's probably a contender... esp with the lens shift whatever that turns out to be (suspect vertical but still a pluspoint for such a budget PJ) - still would fancy the Benq though
