Lichen subscribe

Had a few ideas in mind for this theme but am entering this before I inevitably run out of time at the end of the month.
Spotted this lichen growing on a signpost in a nearby country park. Some interesting textures here.
Shot with a Yashica manual lens which is the only lens I own with macro capabilities and is a joy to use.
Did some editing in camera to improve the contrast and sharpness and tweaked white balance to bring out the yellows/oranges.

Lichens are so totally interesting. The textures and forms they come up with are amazing. Nice find. And I guess rust is kind of organic, too :p

It's a good spot but maybe I would have concentrated on the Lichen and not included the signs.. Just my opinion.
