how do .. this is my first post so here goes. I was looking at which was the best 4k tv to buy in my price range and I started out with the Samsung 50 inch ku600 (I think) was 500 quid from currys. i wasn't happy with that because of the blur at times off it. anyway I bought this lguh770v on the back of the specs and thought it was an absolute steal. I have always had lgs and thought why not again. this one though has turned out to be a nightmare. the picture is just awful. I could see white verticle bands at times during sports and the white light bleed on an dark background was unbearable. also a heck of a lot of blurring around on fast motion scenes . I watched 13 hrs in bengazhi in uhd the other day and some parts blew my mind of how good the picture could be, but then in this one scene which had the night sky in the background I seen a ridiculous blob of colour burst through the sky like a port hole opening up to another dimension!. I was so disappointed as I expected the picture to be immaculate. even when I play around with the settings I can't get a decent picture. my 1080p 60hz plasma looks better. I got a steal of a deal off it from amazon £670 which went back up to 999 the day after. anyways it's getting sent back and I'm getting a refund no real questions asked. I'm sort of thinking it might have been a customer returned item now anyhow. I spoke to a guy at richer sounds and explained to him what happened and he seemed to think it could be a faulty panel. I think I'm going for the hisense m7000 now. I've threatened to buy that 3 times now and the guy at richer sounds recommended it and it also has great reviews. what's people's thoughts? cheers

My thoughts are; you don't get a good uhd screen for £600 and you'd be better off sticking with the 1080p plasma for now.

I have the M7000 65 inch and my set is superb no banding brilliant black levels 4k youtube and Netflix 4k look superb I've had mine since August and I love it watched train to busan tonight 1080 and picture was lovely I don't have any experience with the 55 inch version but av forums rated it 9/10 and gave it a best buy award but keep hunting and see what else is in your price range but M7000 for me is a great TV coming from a 63 inch 6 year old Samsung it's impressive but I'd say buy from John Lewis as they have a 90 day period in which you can return it if not happy id go with that and you get 5 years warranty and if you pay a small sub you can get 5 years accidental damage. here's some pictures of mine train to busan youtube 4k video and planet earth 2 BBC 1 HD via virgin 20170105_001858.jpg 20170105_001915.jpg 20170108_230325.jpg 20170108_230318.jpg 20170108_230315.jpg 20170105_002059.jpg 20170103_175823.jpg 20161215_045713.jpg 20161215_045746.jpg 20161215_045509.jpg

thanks for getting in touch! yea I'm think I'm going to get the hisense 55. the 65 is just out my price range.the 55 is £700 and 65 is £1100 with richer sounds you get a 6 year guarantee too which is really good! I'd have to give a thumbs up for the gaming for the LG on my ps4 tho. I was impressed by that although it didn't seem much better than my plasma (I got that calibrated for my ps4) it was not far away at all maybe just edged it. but as I need the tele for the living room I think I will go with the hisense
