LG ZX 8K OLED Owners and Discussion Tread

Thought I would start a discussion thread as I couldn't find one.

Had the 77" 8K gallery TV just over a week now from Hughes for a bargain £6300.

I bought an 8K panel because I sit just over 2 meters away and was concerned, I may be able to see a 4K panel picture pixel structure for that size.

Checked panel uniformly and it's perfect as far as I can see.

First impressions (after setting picture modes to Film maker) was how well it upscales HD and 4K to the native 8K panel.
Obviously, it's not worth feeding it with SD.

The Olympics Eurosport 4K HLG HDR feeds have been spectacular as has 4K UHD discs.

The only 8K feeds I could get where the YouTube app on my phone (the built-in app only seems to support up to 4K) cast to the TV and Wow what can I say.

The LAN port is Gigabit as Netflix reports a 500mbps speed which is my fibre speed.

Just waiting to get it wall mounted and calibrated.

Overall, incredibly happy with my purchase.

Love to know if anyone else has one and their experience.
