    Hi,
I was hoping somebody could offer some advice on these two relatively cheap mini hi-fi systems.
It will be for the bedroom to listen to music whilst I fall asleep, therefore the sound levels will be quite low. They both have everything I need apart from the Pioneer doesn't have DAB radio but I can live with that.
    Here are the links:

    LG XA16 DAB Micro Hi-fi System - Hi-Fi & micro systems - Audio & Hi-Fi - Technology - Sainsbury's
    £59.99

    or

Pioneer X-EM11 | Mini System INC Speakers | Richer Sounds
    £49.95

Apart from the DAB they appear to be quite similar. Pioneer always used to be a good make and I have many LG products around the house and have always been happy with them.

    Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hello, I'm interested in XEM11 Pioneer or Panasonic SC-PM200EG-S. I prefer the Pioneer, but say they do not read MP3 CD (MP3 only in usb) I do not know if it's true or not, if it were true, I would go for the Panasonic does read mp3 on cd and usb and the Panasonic can configure the Flat (treble and bass). Have you already bought one?

I bought the Pioneer but I am taking it back because the CD player is very noisy. I wanted it to listen to music as I am going to sleep but on the lower levels you can hear the CD player over the music. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Also it does not have an alarm which I wanted.

In the end I bought the Panasonic SC-MP200, easily and completely.

Nota: The pioneer xem11 if you alarm.
