LG UBK90 or Sony UBP-X700?

Hi all,

I’m just wondering which is the better of the 2 above players to get or do they both have pro and cons against each other?

I’d be connecting one of them to an LG E8.

Because they are not made by LG...

I have both of them with an E8 and they have been glitch free for me having played many, many UHDs and blu-rays. The LG UBK90 predecessor (UP970) lasted less than a week in my house before it was sent back. Noisy and froze at layer changes. The UBK90 is meant to be a bit better but take a look at the owners thread for the number and type of complaints.
