Hey I've just bought 43LM6300PLA and I need help/advise! I can't get my picture to look right, currently dark and dull I've tried all the present programmes and they don't look right either?! It could be that we've gone from a 32" Samsung led tv to LG 4k any help would be great thanks x

That TV is not 4K according to LG. Resolution 1920 x 1080 .

Yep Full HD resolution only. But LG have given it some High Dynamic Range and colour features.

Usual advice is to follow this site's 'Picture Perfect' setup process Picture Perfect TV setup guide

Alternatively use a decent BBC HD Test Card video to see if peak whites and blacks are visible, the grey scale steps not abnormal, and the skin tone of young Carole Hersee is close to correct? (You Tube have some)

Hi,
I have a couple of LGs and was similarly unimpressed when first setup. You need to turn off energy saving picture settings to get any decent brightness from it (on mine, from 2018, Settings > Picture > Energy Saving = Off)
