LG SK1 Soundbar [Need Help]

Hi all

I own LG SK1 soundbar which I use for my pc. It has an annoying problem every 30 min or so it turn it self off even while I am using it. There is no firmware for it however it has a usb port for service. I am trying to hack it and extract then alter its firmware. Need advice and help

Sounds like a power saving feature

What connection are you using
HDMI
optical
3.5mm

Try the 3.5mm which is analogue audio output and see if the bar still turns off.

Thank you for your reply. Yes It is a power saving feature. It only has 2 ports 3.5mm and optical. I am using 3.5mm I don't think optical will behave differently. I think this sounds bar is built for TVs maybe that is why it keep turning off by itself. Any ideas if I can alter it is firmware somehow
