    hi all
    im a newbie looking to buy a 42inch plasma, think ive setteled on the LG RZ-42PX11, just checking that the stand that comes with it is removable, as it says on adverts its built in? i do want to wall mount it ,so does anyone have this set already , and is it anygood ? ive seen it in currys and was quite impressed with it , any comments thanks :lease:

    Yes the legs do come off - couple of screws on the back of the screen

    yes comes off and the wall brackets are supplied with it,

    No theyre not. The ones supplied are to tie the unit to the wal;l to stop someone pulling it over when it is on its stand.

    oh ok, i just got mine two days ago, and the instuctions i have with it shows how to fit it to the wall without the stand, and the wall brackets were supplied with it, must be a differant to yours, sorry,

    :laugh: not a problem. The picture with it mounted on the wall is just a suggestion in my manual, it then shows a diagram of the optional wall mount. The brackets i got with mine were 2 small cream coloured ones and these are just for safety

    don't supose you have the sky remote code for this tv, ?

    No sorry i couldnt find one anywhere, I bought a Mosaic programmable touch screen remote in the end to control all my devices anyway so i just use that now.
