    hi,

i have had this tv for a couple of days, i have noticed on the sides of the tv the screen stretches a little.

If a person is standing on the sides of the TV they get bigger for some reason, they look fat!. however when they are in the middle of the screen they are fine.

Its the first time i have ahad a widescreen plasma tv, is it normal for this to happen or is there somethin wrong with my tv??

    thnks
    haz

You probably have it on the wrong mode. I have a setting called 'panorama' on my Samsung which does exactly what you're describing. It's basically only for programs that arent in widescreen to make them appear less squashed. if you're watching widescreen, set it to 16:9 and standard TV is 4:3.
