Looking for info for a friend who has just bought an LG RE44SZ21RD rear projection DLP TV. Can someone explain which of the Scarts is best for DVD?
Are they all RGB, or is that not relevant to DLP? The manual isn't very clear.
Also, he has noticed that the image appears better from a higher viewing position than directly in front of the screen. It seems to become slightly darker (and with better blacks) when you start to stand up. Is there a setting or tweak that adjusts the angle of view of the picture? I'm not very familiar with DLP sets (being an LCD owner) - but any advice would be welcome and I can pass it on.

Have tried various brightness settings (including using THX optimizer), but black level seems average at best - is this a known trait of this (or other DLP) TVs?
