LG Plasma dead?

Ok so have an LG oled in family room and an old LG Plasma (42PJ650) in the front room. Quite old but up to this morning has been still a good picture.
This morning booted the Plasma TV up & get the following (attached pics). First is a whitish area at the bottom 1/3 of screen, then the picture appears but the bottom 1/3 area is still there just not so obvious & then the screen turns off. It runs through this cycle every 20 seconds & the only way to stop it is to unplug from wall. Tried different HDMI leads & then with nothing attached to TV & still get the same bit on the bottom 1/3 (obviously no tv picture with nothing connected). Anyone seen anything like this & has fixed it? Any ideas or do I need to look for another TV?
Thanks in advance

oh well decided its not worth the effort and bought & put a 43" led in the room now.
Picture not as good but will do for now, although one weird issue!
Have a set of led lights behind TV that are plugged into a usb socket on the TV. So when TV is put on standby they turn off after 15 mins, so seem to take a bit longer than the other tv did (less than 2 minutes) but now realise they also then turn on again after 30 mins or so, then cycle the same process through the day, off then on etc, all rather weird. Checked all power saving features are switched off etc, any ideas?

On some brands the USB ports go live when the TV checks for a software update.

You don't state what brand of TV you've bought…have a look in the network settings menu and see if there's an option to turn off automatic software updates.

no option to do that, it is a weird set up tbh as its linked to Amazon. What I might do is factory reset the tv and try not linking to network

OK seem to have found the issue. Factory reset the TV and when starting from scratch you get an option to disable wake up lan or something so that seems to avoid the TV searching for updates so all good now😁
Thanks JayCee for the heads up👍🙏
