I believe Ed Selley is planning to review more wireless speakers, so maybe.

Nice review Steve.

At this price point, the XBoom is running against a range of Ultimate Ears, which I don't know how the XBoom compares, but I'd probably pick a Meridian designed speaker over those.

In my experience, a problem with these rubber coatings is that they absorb moisture over time, and end up very sticky.

I found the same issue on a couple of remotes with rubber coating but never knew what caused it to go like that. A nasty feel to it. Ended up using some cling film on the casing so i can hold it.
