10,000 shifted in first day alone

LG Korea has revealed they've reached half a million sales for its Optimus G Pro smartphone, less than 40 days after it went on sale. Providing we've translated this correctly, LG says the Optimus G Pro is selling twice as many as other competing phones in their home territory.

The 5.5-inch screened phone sold over 10,000 units in its first day on sale in Korea and LG is confident the success will continue as consumers look to devices with larger display's to enhance their experience whilst on the move.

No UK carrier has yet been announced for the highly powered phone that features a Qualcomm quad-core processor running Jelly Bean at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM but it's rumoured to be coming in the summer.
