Hi All

First time poster, new to the forums. I have a question I cant find a definite answer too.

I am considering buying the LG OLED65G16LA, I currently have a Samsung Soundbar HW-F751 (2013). I could not really afford changing the soundbar just yet but I was wondering what the sound is like on the TV?

Would you recommend I keep my current soundbar, or take it out and go with the sound from the TV?

One other question, I use HDMI Arc currently for the sound bar, is that best or should I use optical?

I dont really understand DTS, Dolby, Atmos, etc. etc.

The sound on my current samsung was poor, and thats why I bought the soundbar.

Any help/guidance very much appreciated. Diolch.

I have no experience of that particular TV but if you’re happy with your soundbar I would just carry on using it, a decent Soundbar will usually give you better sound quality compared to a TV's built-in speakers. Yes, carry on using HDMI Arc, it's the best connection method.
