Selling my 2016 65" B6 OLED due to an upgrade (side-grade?) to an LG OLED 65C9

It's in great condition, no signs of static images or burn in. It remains the TV I've been most impressed with over all my years of buying TV's (Toshiba CRT, 3x Panasonic Plasmas and Panasonic LCD)

I've had no issues with the TV. It was manufactured in November 2016 and purchased from Co-op electrical in December 2016 but is no longer under warranty (and they closed in March of this year)

From a smoke free house.

Images below - These were taken over the last few years:

Collection only - I don't have the box, but I do have some polystyrene pieces from my purchase of the 65C9 which should make it easier to transport.

Price and currency: 800
Delivery: Goods must be exchanged in person
Payment method: Instant Bank Transfer or Pay Pal Gift
Location: Chelmsford
Advertised elsewhere?: Advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I prefer the goods to be collected

Too cheap for a pristine 65" OLED.

I already rejected £800 elsewhere.

Hi,
Would you be able to tell me the width of the tv please? I moved to a new place and I’m looking to upgrade my tv but the only place I can put it is 140cm wide. I see you have a sonorous table, I’m guessing it’s 140cm.

Hi

It's 1451mm, it extends slightly over my Sonorous.

That’s a shame. My sonorous table is 1400mm as well and I doesn’t fit in the gap. I guess I’ll have to go with the 55” version. Thank you for your response.

Final price reduction - now £800!

Bargain for a 65" OLED IMO.

Honestly, the C9 was a bit of a pointless upgrade. Though it'll be nice when it gets the G-sync firmware update as I'm a gamer.

I've never used a 5% grey slide but I think the C9 is slightly cleaner.

Other than that, not much difference

Free bump as I would have had this off you if I could only make it fit! I've measured 3 times but looks like 55" is my max. I'm only down the road from you as well :thumbsdow

I'm interested but haven't got the budget for it I'm afraid as we're looking to get some speakers (Q Acoustics 3050i as well!) and a new tv stand... But this is a good deal... Hmmmm.

Thanks for the bumps.

Quite baffled why there's not a lot of interest in this!

I think the issue mate is that there were a few second hand b7s for around the same price on a few other sites.

If this did 1440p high hz or custom resolutions I’d consider a punt on it. Do you know if it accepts ultraiwde resolutions or 1440p?

Yes it can accept a 1440p signal. I remember playing Wolfenstein a few years ago via PC at 1440p because 4k was too slow.

Never tried Ultrawide on it.

Cheers mate. I know you're selling the TV so unlikely to bash it too much but how is black uniformity and what were the main pros of the C9 over this one? Any banding on panning shots or IR?

I feel bad asking these questions and being so picky as it is a good deal. I had someone do this with an alienware monitor I was selling earlier.

I'm just thinking whether to buy this TV as a holding place until the 77 oled C9s come down in price.

This guy here is selling a G6 for £900

but he did mention a banding issue.. does the B6 suffer from this?

No banding on panning shots, but due to OLED technology (2016 or 2019, doesn't matter) there can be 'stuttering' on 24fps material if you don't use 'tru-motion'

Black uniformity is flawless. Are you asking about Grey uniformity?

My 2019 has better grey uniformity than the 2016 B6, but other than some Netflix menu's i'd honestly say you would not see anything whilst watching movies or playing games. I've never actually put up any 5% grey slides.

There is no image retention.

Sorry No, I've already dropped it by £100 and it's in perfect condition.

Having dropped £100 off it, I'd rather not have to spend 4 hours delivering it as well.

If you still live in SW London then that's a bit of trek there and back. I'd do it for £900
