For sale is my LG OLED65B6V television.

It was purchased in May 2017 from John Lewis including 5 year guarantee (that runs until 25/05/2022). Due to house move it was only set-up in late August and thus has very low hours.

The TV is in excellent condition, with no marks on the screen. I have all of the original packaging & remote.

Due to size and value of the item, this is personal collection only. As well, this will give you the chance to see it working! I will post photos this evening.

Reason for sale is an upgrade.

    Hi there,

Currys are doing the 65C7 for £2429 with voucher code at the moment.

As per the other sale here that B6 came with a soundbar.

Taking all of the above into consideration. I would be interested at say £1300?

    Thanks

    Thanks for the offer.

While there is certainly room for negotiation in my price, I’m not willing to drop that much. The previous sale of £1400 including a low value soundbar I don’t believe is representative of the value. That TV was a year old (thus no LG warranty) and came with a non-transferable Richer Sounds warranty.

The £2429 for the 65C7 at Currys is clearly a good deal, but even in the context of that price I believe that my TV is worth closer to my asking price than you’ve offered.

Thanks, but still too low. As I said above, there is room in my price but not that much.

Understandable but John Lewis are selling the B7 for £2699 so what’s your expectation?

    Also is their warranty transferable?

According to their website it is transferable (Terms & conditions), specifically the quote

“ Your guarantee is transferable with ownership, so if you give or sell the item to someone during the guarantee period, it's still covered.”

In the context of of £2700 for the B7 I don’t think my asking price for a 6 month old, very low usage B6 with 4.5 years of transferable warranty is that far off, but would be willing to go down to £1850.

Well considering it’s £2299 from another retailer as above with 5yr warranty included, I’ll go to £1400 tops if any good. Otherwise good luck with the sale!

Thanks for the increased offer but I still feel that my revised price is reasonable, even compared to a new price of £2299 (I note their warranty is not transferable). I remain open to offers, but much closer to my asking.

    Good luck with your search.

Unfortunately I’m just not comfortable sending a large and fragile item via courier (many of whom exclude TVs from their insurance) so I’ll stick with pickup only at this point.

I've used AnyVan twice to transport 65" Panasonic plasma televisions, and I've just been quoted £95 for a two-man team to transport a 60" Samsung plasma from the West Midlands to Cambridgeshire. AnyVan do insurance cover up to £10,000.

    Anyvan ***Insert Shock Horror Emoji***...
I run a man and a van service and I refuse to do work for this company, you're mad even considering them. Anyvan are just middle guys for man and van services to reverse bid on a delivery, all bartering for your business. It's down to the guys you decide to book with as to goods in transit insurance and I assure you that will be a complete lottery.

Absolutely! You’re very welcome to demo the set. It’s currently in use in my “man cave” with a variety of sources (UHD blu, game console, streaming) available for viewing.
