I have the LG OLED55C7V 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR OLED TV on order for £1330 though I have just seen the below offer.

SAMSUNG QE55Q6FAMT 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR QLED TV £850 at currys (after discounting saving from free sound bar which I am buying anyway).

I know the LG is better but is it £480 better?

      Thoughts welcome.

There aren't any good reviews of the Q6 yet, but anecdotal evidence suggests it's noticeably worse than the Q7.

How much extra image quality is worth £480 to you?

But if you're happy with good enough then then even the Q6 is likely overpriced and you should be looking at £650 rather than £850.

Thanks for your input. My bro wants HDR for his gaming hence not really looking at cheaper TV's.

Its plastered all over this section but you can't go lower than the Sony XE9005 if you want decent HDR and the Sony XE9305/LG OLEDs if you want good HDR.

We don't know is the Q6 is any better than something like a N6800 at £650, or even a WE75 at £500 (in 49") if his sources support FHD outputs. Many of the TVs in that price range like LG's SJ850 aren't.

Comparing these two TVs is like comparing a Subaru with a Rolls Royce. 1330 pounds for a 2017 OLED is golden value. It would be madness to get the Samsung
