LG OLED55B7V 55 inch Premium 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart OLED TV

Currently at £1,229.00 FREE delivery on Amazon as part of the Prime Day Deal for around 20 minutes.

Is this a good price or is it not really that much of a "deal"?

I have seen the POS9002 Philips for 1,199 today on Amazon, which might have been a better choice in my point of view.

I saw that deal. What makes that one better in your opinion?

The Philips processing / motion handling is great and you will get 3-sided Ambilight with it as well, which you could neatly hook up to a Philips Hue system if of interest. All a 2017 LG panel, i.e. same as the B7, but both are obviously great TVs.

As I understand it OLED is the way to go if you are after 4K and HDR.

As they are both around the £1,200 mark I also understand that is a great price? TV's aren't really my speciality so I am not sure whether these are actually good deals. Whilst obviously being amazing TV's.

I know on here I have seen the B7 and C7 LG TV's mentioned before but hadn't seen the Phillips one mentioned until I saw it as a deal on Amazon..

I'm not sure what to do and only have 8 mins..
