I am interested in one of the LG OLEDs but I find the array of models on offer rather confusing. Is my summary of the models available below correct?
EF950V Late 2015 Flat 4k HDMI 2.0a (HDCP 2.2) HDR
EG960V Mid 2015 Curved 4k HDMI 2.0 (HDCP 2.2) HDR (only through apps not through HDMI)
EG920V Mid 2015 Curved 4k HDMI 2.0 (HDCP 2.2)? HDR (only through apps not through HDMI?)
EG910V Mid 2015 Curved 1080p HDMI 1.4
EC930V Late 2014 Curved 1080p HDMI 1.4
LGs numbering system for OLEDs appears to be:
<Size><E><C/F/C><1-9><0V>
Where C = 2014
G = 2015
F = 2015 (Flat)
The number e.g. 910 or 970 doesn't seem to follow any pattern e.g. 920 is newer than the 930.
What is the advantage of a 910V over the 930V? If you were going to spend £2k on a 910V why not spend an extra £250 and get a 960 or 950?
