I am interested in one of the LG OLEDs but I find the array of models on offer rather confusing. Is my summary of the models available below correct?

EF950V Late 2015 Flat 4k HDMI 2.0a (HDCP 2.2) HDR
EG960V Mid 2015 Curved 4k HDMI 2.0 (HDCP 2.2) HDR (only through apps not through HDMI)
EG920V Mid 2015 Curved 4k HDMI 2.0 (HDCP 2.2)? HDR (only through apps not through HDMI?)
EG910V Mid 2015 Curved 1080p HDMI 1.4
EC930V Late 2014 Curved 1080p HDMI 1.4

LGs numbering system for OLEDs appears to be:

<Size><E><C/F/C><1-9><0V>
Where C = 2014
G = 2015
F = 2015 (Flat)
The number e.g. 910 or 970 doesn't seem to follow any pattern e.g. 920 is newer than the 930.

What is the advantage of a 910V over the 930V? If you were going to spend £2k on a 910V why not spend an extra £250 and get a 960 or 950?

The 910 and 920 were touted as budget models, although they aren't really. (They aren't knobbled in any significant way we can see)

Regarding the £250 for the 4Ks - The 4Ks were about £3499 when the 910 came out. For whatever reason it hasn't dropped in price yet whereas the 4Ks dropped over £1000. There is zero reason to get the 910 instead unless you have to have curved and need HDR over HDMI (although in which case you'd just get a 920).

Does the 910 have any advantage over the 930?

I had exactly the same confusion of features between models. I tried the LG UK website, which was NO help. I used the "contact us" link on the LG UK website and have had NO reply.

I eventually bought the 55EG920V which is HDMI2.0a, HDCP2.2, and WebOS2.
It appears that apart from minor differences it is exactly the same as the 55EF950V. The remotes are identical apart from "trim" on the 950V one, the 950V has Harmon Kardon sound (whatever that means, no idea if the difference is audible as I use my AV Amp), and of course flat verses "nearly" flat (the curve on the 920V is so subtle it doesn't bother me, even though I was planning to get flat.

On the 5% grey "slides" I see the banding and vignetting that has been discussed, but in (my) real world viewing I have never seen the picture affected by these issues. I'm really happy with my purchase and now have a nice TV to enjoy over the Xmas period.

I have just watched Interstllar, which was much used in this forum to illustrate the near black problems, but found the blacks of space stunning. I was however absolutely confused by the plot!
