LG OLED 77CX Cannot Update or Install new Apps

I have an LG OLED77CX6LA and was prompted this evening to update the Amazon Prime App. However, the update downloads but will not install and I eventually get the “Application has not installed, please try again” message. I have also tried to install new apps but the same thing happens. Has anyone had the same problem and found a way to resolve this issue ? Thank you.

Have you tried pulling the power plug for an hour or two then trying again?

Thanks for the posts. The problem resolved itself, I turned the TV off (standby) for an hour and a half then tried again and all was fine, odd !
