LG No signal with Manhattan T3-R switched off

I have recently replaced a Humax HDR-FOXT2 video recorder with a Manhattan T3-R for use with an LG 43UP81006LR TV, however the TV now shows 'no signal' for TV aerial with the Manhattan T3-R switched off (the TV 'aerial' was OK with the Humax switched off). This feels like a standby setting issue with the Manhattan T3-R, but I cannot readily see how to fix it. If anyone has met this problem and solved it, then I would be pleased to hear more.

”In order to meet EU energy regulations, loop out is disabled in standby in order to conserve energy. It can be turned on in the System section of the Settings menu. Press HOME on your T3•R remote and go to: Settings > System > Loop Out in Standby.
