LG Magic Remote Pointer

Our LG TV is 1 1/2 years old and, since Day One, the actual Magic Remote pointer on the screen won’t stay in line with the remote. Starts out in line but move it a couple of times and the remote is pointed at one spot and that spot is not where I’m aiming the remote. I have to use the TV screen border to force it to line up again but it’s only temporary. Only adjustments I can find are Pointer Speed and Pointer Size. Played with them but nothing helped. I’m wondering if anyone else has had or is having this problem?

That's normal.
Go with where the pointer is, not the direction where the remote is pointing.
